Our Vision
Nature is blamed being biased against the persons with the mental and physical disabilities! The mainstream view of the society about these special children is either too sensitive ; or nothing, but as burden of responsibility .But isn’t is the duty of the man to make the weakest the fittest? With a vision of increasing the participation of these disabled children as a society, Shreerang has initiated these artistic ventures . Festival is said to be the pride of India , then why not make these people too proud of their nation.Hence, we have started a venture of celebrating the festivals like Holi, Ganpati Festival , Diwali in favor with these kids. It does not include just the celebration , but all the materialistic and artistic elements needed for the celebrations are made by these disabled people. We teach them the sense of colours , patterns , lines with their understanding which helps in their visual as well as artistic development . These special kids make beautiful lanterns ,Ganesha idols , paintings , rachis etc without hesitating about their age , sex , race , caste .
Man being the pioneer of this environmental system, undergoes through various stresses, tensions, and other psychological restlessness . Hence by helping these children gives visual and mental pleasure to us . It has been observed that helping these kids ,helps in our own patience holding capacity. Hence we not only play the role of a ‘giver’ , but unknowingly become a ‘receiver’ of these PWD’s ( Person with disabilities) . Our roles helps in the overall development of these people for a being self- dependent individual and literally being highlighted as a ‘special’one. . If these children are nurtured well ,with proper water and sunlight they can grow into a positively charged big trees So let’s not give these special children a holiday for our celebrations, instead bring a curve of smile on their faces and ultimately our’s!
