World Earth Day
- 12:31 pm - 12:31 pm
As a part of the Lockdown Projects, the 50th Earth Day was also celebrated. Due to the lockdown instructions by the government for avoiding spread of the COVID-19 virus, we all are trapped at home. Most of us are restless and are waiting for the day we would be able to roam freely on the streets. Being locked is not something we enjoy. So why trap animals or steal their freedom? If we don’t like being trapped, neither do they. And we must understand that. They too have the right to live freely.
To celebrate this day, cut outs of papers were pasted on bricked walls. These papers were shaped like animals. The end result was an animal filled wall which looked like a montage. This activity was carried out with a team along.
